Beautiful vintage inspired bridal accessories.
Lucy works from her cozy studio at her home in the Cotswolds, which she shares with her husband and two children. Before her business ventures Lucy studied Art and Design, Law and English Literature and worked in Education for eight years. She describes herself as 'a time deprived artist and sleep deprived mummy' but also a 'creative magpie and keen up-cycler'. Taking inspiration from eras gone by and using her environment, Lucy creates a range of stunning and unique accessories; Original Vintage pieces are re-purposed and transformed into exquisite wearable accessories for the modern day bride.
"All Things Lucy was created three years ago and came about for a number of reasons. The first instigator was that of my own wedding. My husband and I just couldn't get enough of designing and making as much of our wedding as we could ourselves. This didn't just stop at decor and invites though, at least not for me! Needless to say cogs started whirring shortly after our wedding day and I decided that my love of vintage would be my inspiration for getting creative. The rest they say is history...literally!"
'All Things Lucy' is now emerging from its fledgling status with Lucy branching out into new avenues of craft and design including porcelain work, beading, wiring and embroidery to mention but a few. Her stockists include Boho Brides (Stratford-Upon-Avon), The Bridal Room (Broadway), Village Brides of Long Compton and Sarah Elizabeth Bridal Boutique (Cheltenham).
"My inspiration comes from all around me but sometimes my best creations happen with no planning, no set purpose just the possibility of 'what ifs' – it's worth the time and sometimes small failures along the way when you end up with something quite unique and truly wonderful. Due to the nature of my bespoke design work I am constantly learning new techniques and have now branched out into designing accessories with a modern and sometimes couture edge alongside my existing vintage themed pieces. All Things Lucy encompasses everything that I am and I'm very proud of my beautiful business."
